Just wondering if anyone is having or has had problems with the chrome chipping and or flaking on Galaxy Force Sonic Bomber? I have the Sonic Bomber that came with Japan TRU Sonic Convoy and it appears to be alright for the time being, but it has a few chips on the chrome here and there, nothing major but I just worry about future chipping and flaking.

    Thoughts?

Haven't had any problems with my Sonic Bomber, but then I haven't manipulated the figure very much.

Thanks for the impute, I know mine came a bit chipped in some places (again rather minor) just wanted to make sure he didn’t have a history of flaking like other chromed figs.

Mine's already flaking a little bit on the chest ... probably oughta just put him back in the box.

If it flakes I'd probably put a clear coat of some kind on it. Once it begins to crack like on my TM Rattrap and Ultra Jetstorm I don't think it can be saved.

I've transformed mine repeatedly with no damage to the chrome, even on the sword blades with all the friction when being inserted into the handles.

It shouldn't chip at all - gold doesn't, unlike coloured lacquer.

When you say yours it chipped, do you mean the Autobot symbol?

Nope -- the actual gold bordering the chest.

Mine has a couple of minor scratches / chips in the gold. IIRC, it was like that when I go it though.

Ya that’s what mine is like as well, have you seen any further deterioration of the chrome?
