Okay Thunderwing, fun little guy to fiddle with, proportions are a bit wonky though. here is the start of my idea to fix him.

Yeah still a wip but it lengthened his torso to where it should be, hip joints even with wrist joint. simple mod to do but i needed a bit more fore-thought when I cut. You pull the pin out of the back/wing flap and make a rectangular cut here.

This creates a secondary hinge in his back to lower the hip joint.

you can see here the panel I cut to create the new hinge, whish i had cut it a bit longer.

So now before and after shots with WFC Optimus for comparison!

    Before the extension

and after extending. So he not only has better proportions but he gains some much needed height. Now I am brainstorming up ways to put his waistband back to where it should be.

ideas to lower his belt would be appreciated.

It's a nice mod, but I'm not too keen on that gap it creates.

I think you could avoid allot of work with the waistline by installing the thigh flaps on a peace the same size right underneath the original position filling in the empty space with flat kibble piece. or filling in the space just the same then sand off and redo the exact same mold detail that much lower.
