I don't suppose anyone here knows a good way to recoil a spring that has become twisted out of shape? I could use some help fixing the ankle of my MP Rodimus.

    Thanks!

Your best option is to snag a spring from another toy or small ballpoint pen. I'm not sure how small the spring is (don't own MP Roddy), but maybe a spring from some of those Hex Bugs might work also. I don't think there's any easy way to recoil a spring that's bent out of shape.

Good luck and I hope you get it fixed, man.

Yeah I actually kinda tried that. I went to Home Depot and bought a little package of assorted springs, one of which looked to be the exact size I needed, but it doesn't fit into the slot in MP Roddy's ankle joint. I almost think that the spring Takara used is a non-standard size or something. Maybe a standard diameter but the gauge of the metal is thinner.
