I'm sure this has been a problem before but the search didn't turn up anything, so I thought I'd ask.

Is there any way to fix ratchet joints on figures? I've got Web Diver Garyun who I love and is beautiful in vehicle mode... but the ratchet joint in one of his hips is a little off and not only does it make him stand off balance, it keeps his pirate ship mode from coming together cleanly, there's always parts misplaced and it hurts the appearance bad. Anyone know how to adjust these joints?

Take the joint apart and make sure it's assembled correctly.

I'm trying now but it there's two or three mechanics to the joints in his legs and it's hard to tell what's right and what's not.

You could take the other good leg apart and compare.

Other than checking that, or shaving down a couple of key ratchet teeth, I don't know what you could do.

I got down to the center gear that's fixed to the leg but it had what looked like glue on the teeth and on top of the gear, didn't want to risk removing it, never did this kind of repair before to know what I could remove or not.

I would say remove anything like glue on the teeth. They should be clean so they can lock together correctly.

    Can you take a pic?
