Fixing G1 shockwave

    I have a G1 Shockwave and his gun tip broke. I finally was able to find an intact laser tip. I thought this would be an easy fix, just switch out the clear laser portions and I would be good to go. On further inspection, the little light bulb and wires go around the screw hole. So, am I sol? Anybody fix a shockwave gun tip? It looks like I wasted some money :(

    Can you swap out the entire arm? If the wiring is the problem, you can easily cut, strip, twist & then cover with electrical tape.

    I only purchased the lower half of the arm. I would think replacing his entire arm would be a pain in the butt for me. I didn't think this fix was going to be hard, turns out that it might be.
