i was sad that they replaced the artist on this, but it looks like Guido is absolutely killing it. dig the spin that the TFs start as beast warriors :p

Love the monster-beginnings, and I adore the whole concept of the series!

Let's hope the Titanium line lasts long enough to include some toys of these guys!

Evolutions is a superb concept. I'm hopeful as to the execution.

Nothing really new there except the last two pages but I'm excited about this series and their 19th century alt modes.

I can't wait for it. Late 1800s transformers. Should be far better than the lousy TF/GI Joe WWII thing we got where you couldn't make out a single thing.

The cool retro artwork is what TF vs GIJoe should have looked like. I just hope they manage to tell a good story and not just another reboot only with steam-powered vehicles but the interview with the writer gives me good hope :)

I'm liking what I've seen so far.

What I'd like to see more, would be figures of some of these comic's characters. Kinda like the Titaniums or the PVC's. They wouldn't really have to transform, just something to put with the collection to represent them.

I really would like to see sketches of Soundwave (grey bot in foreground) and Prime to see what they transform into.

Kind of funny that Bumblebee turns into an insect of some sort.

I think IDW should consider a post series sketch book showing various transformers and maybe a preview of the next evolutions title.

seems like more people are interested in the alt modes than the story.

I could make out some of them I can make out Bumblebee,Huffer and Gears but the one that is in front of the book is that Ratchet,Hot Rod or Prowl or Bluestreak.

That is as it should be. We collect them because they look cool and transform into things that also look cool, right? If the comic gets that part right, I'm happy.
