The 5 Most Ill-Conceived Action Figures | Cracked.com
The Crash Dummies line was good.
I have some of the Crash dummies, Neat idea, piss poor execution.
lol, I had the Rambo figure. I guess I was one of the murderous 8 year olds with dreams of mass murder.
Fun stuff. I had some of the Rambo line, Stretch Armstrong, and yes, Fisto. Big lulz
I loved He-man and the crash test dummies.
He Man rules but I agreed with the other ones.
It's amazing how once you say that Stretch Armstrong looks like a bunch of penises, all you can see is a bunch of penises...
I wouldn't say they're ill-conceived. Each one has potential as a toyline... the toys that were produced (and some of the names that accompany them) are pretty bad.
I can't say I agree 100% with the article - heck, I love the MOTU line as a kid. The line had so much playability!
I knew about Fisto, I think they included him in the most recent line as well. But Mantenna... that one was new to me.
I agree with all the products on that list.
He-man to me was a fail.
So was food fighters.
I LOVED my Rambo jungle playset as kid...it made the perfect jungle base for Cobra.
I'm just glad Food Fighters are getting some attention. Even if it's bad.
I'm kind of surprised with Rambo being on there. I would've thought with this criteria that Kenner's Terminator 2 line would've been easy pickings. What with the T-1000 figure that shoots missiles out of his ass and all...
