Sucks for people with young children.

I'm trying to get that mattel page with pictures of the recalled toys to load, but it seems to be down.

While I admit to being ignorant of the global economies of paint manufacturing, I would think that it would be easier to get paint without lead in it.

I mean with so many countries banning the use of lead you would think that paint containing lead would be harder to find and more expensive.
Based on this news, I guess not.

Is it just me or did China all of a sudden decide to screw with us by giving us tainted products. First Dog Food, then Tooth Paste, and now this. That's what we get for relying on them so much.

Just watch, I bet you someone will go on the news and start saying that we need to rely less on foreign suppliers/manufacturers and bring production back to the U.S. They could also say it will increase the availability of jobs. I dunno if that's true.

^That's my guess of what we will see come out of this. That and a few lead poisoned kids. Very unfortunate this situation is.

My wife pulled it up since we have tons of Dora shit because of my daughter.

Right now the recall is for toys sold between may 07 and Aug 07. I told her we should keep watching it in case they expand it.
