G1 Soundwave, still have him too  

 

G1 Prime and Sideswipe. Got them for my Bday in 1985.

 

G1 Bumblebee

 

G1 skywarp, although if at the time I had known thundercracker would have played a much more active part, would have got him but didnt like his colour as much.

 

I can't recall for certain, but the earliest that sticks out in my mind was a Freeway Throttlebot. I got it second hand somewhere, as I'm G2/Beast Wars generation.

Sticks out specifically to me because I remember leaving it at one of my late grandfather's construction sites. I started bawling, so he was kind enough to turn all the way around to retrieve it.

Tough question, this. First in my modern collection is WFC Soundwave, tied with DotM Roadbuster.

As for before, back when I was a kid I have a couple of distinct memories. The first Transformer I remember playing with was my cousin's G2 Megatron. The first I remember owning is G2 Hero Optimus Prime. Kinda want to track one of those things down now, just for nostalgia's sake...

 

BW Cheetor was my first, but I have a busted Bombshell and a Seaspray hand-me-downs.
