Curse you IDW for misleading covers!!! :D  When I see that thumbnail with a red/blue wide-shouldered robot holding an axe, I think  -Straxus, finally! - and click only to see it is boring old Pyra Magna again... Sigh.

I can\'t but help notice how much more likeable the other Torchbearers are when Pyra Magna isn\'t around.

...how is that misleading? Pyra Magna is a red and blue (teal really, but still) wide-shouldered robot with an axe.

I am loving the twins, they're great! It's nice to see torchbearers who aren't Pyra.
Also Soundwave may have some of the best interactions with humans in this entire continuity. Because he comes off as very alien and awkward compared to most of the other Cybertronians, it works out better and leads to good banter.

Lastly, whoever the writer is (I believe it's Scott?), I prefer how they write the Joe's so much more over Sitterson...Scarlett is so pleasant and fun here.
