jeez, for that much - you can hire someone to make a custom set of kibble for your buster prime. all that gray plastic, blah. I am a fan of the concept, just not the execution.

 

It's kinda' like Takara just wanted to beat Ultimate Prime so they rushed it.

 

Looks good, but the protoype images seemed to include a gimmick in the gatling guns...This is from my observation but the small circle under the gatling seemed to show a metal shaft inside for some rotary gimmick..Also I seemed to recall seeing a picture of the wing's ailerons being positioned like guns.

I just wonder if the backpack could position horizontally as well?

I just noticed that inside each gatling gun's center has a metal shaft running through it. It seems like it spins, but I see no gears or levers to make it spin.

 

This is so going on my Christmas list.

I can't say I wouldn't mind having this in my collection, without a doubt, but I wouldn't be bummed out if I had to settle for Ultimate Prime.

As much as I would like it, I don't see myself spending $175 on this guy right now. Would love to add him to my collection, he actually looks pretty impressive to me.

 

I definitely want that for my Optimus Prime..only if I can get it at the right price.

 

he's in retail for 175usd??? not in a 175 years i'll be spending that on him...never te less he does look good despite the awful gray colors on him

 

^ Because its an import from Japan. Just like how United figures are 30+. If it was released here by Hasbro it would probably be 100-120.

 

Try 60-80. They won't make this 100+. Hasbro tries so hard to keep it under 3 digits.

 

Jetwing Prime is gorgeous..but not in this collector's budget at the moment..I can only hope Hasbro will release one of him at a later date.

 

does he say the " I am Optimus Prime " line/ If he does I reckon I'd pick him up for definate. He looks big, he looks pwerful and looks really accurate in comparison to that awful ultimate Prime, truck nose forearms are no nos

 

16th birthday this year. I want an awesome Optimus Prime. This will do.

 

It would definitely be pushing 100. If leaders are 44 and he comes with all that extra kit, they're going to try to charge at LEAST 80. Look how much Ultimate is and that trailor armor is mainly just a bunch of flat panels.

Although, i might just hold out for the single pack version with possibly better paint apps. decisions, decisions.... 

 

To me this looks ugly and cheap. Its not just the paint (lack), its the mold of the new pieces themselves. Buster Prime is still by far superior. What would be interesting is if the new parts were painted silver and put on Buster.

 

I wouldn't mind just the OP cause as much as i love that jetpack I can't see myself shelling out that much for him. NOw if hasbro got it and just gave us that prime yeah i'd buy it in a heart beat!
