Damn perhaps the special content is not what I have expected, but I still glad I pre-ordered it. :)

    can someone explain this line:

does this mean that they're included and put in the regular movie disc, which may mean that you would probably get them without a special edition?

The way I read it is they're integrated into one of the documentaries, which is why the reviewer says he would have like to be able to view them separately. Besides the reviewer moves on to disc 2's review when he mentions the deleted scenes.

I knew the name wasn't going to be changed when I saw Transformers in IMAX and it still said "Devastator". If Bay was going to 'fix' it, he would've done so by the time the film came out in IMAX. Doesn't matter much to me, though. I'm still getting the 2-disc DVD Oct. 16.

I could care less about the name swap. And I am not going to read this review, because I want to be suprised when I see the stuff on the DVD.

The extra's definetly sound cool. As for the name not being changed, I would have liked to have seen it fixed, but, in the end, I honestly don't care :D . I'll definetly be getting the Target Exclusive, so that I can get the 2-disks, the transforming case, and the exclusive comic book all at the same time :thumb .

Another very positive review of the DVD....This one was actually posted on the 5th.... Damn, it looks like for the first time ever I'm going to have to get two sets. The dual disc, and the single disc from Wal-Mart, for the prequel....Damn you Transformers and you Wallet-draining ways.

Yeah, I'm thinking that's right. I'll be dissapointed if isn't possible to watch the film with the additional footage, although I seriously doubt any of it will have robot-action.

Seems like they're loading the first wave of releases down with extras--wonder what they'll give us in three months for the Special Collector's Edition?

i also hope that its the Imax version with abit of extra footage but its a interesting use of the word "integrated" in the review. not much longer to wait though.

I don't understand all the confusion on "integrated". The deleted and extended scenes are integrated into the featurettes, and he wishes they were viewable separately. Nothing indicates to me that they're added to the movie itself.

I'm just hoping there are more than what's in the IMAX version. The fact that he mentions them just after a sentence about the creation of the robots gives me a tiny bit of hope that there may just be some extra 'bot stuff. I'd even take unfinished SFX scenes.

I think the point most people are making about it is that yes, it's a bigger, badder name than "Brawl", which would be better used attached to a bigger, badder robot than Brawl. (and there's that G1 connection stuff too :)  )
