Prima, looks like Suron, from Lord of the Ring.

 

Cool. Look's suitably ancient yet elegant. Appropriately different from what we've seen of other original 13ths. They should all look different.

 

Another thing I noticed: I love how his body shape is so regal yet humble. No bulkiness, no exaggeration, just a regal and ellegant robot. Really shows us what the First Prime is made of.

 

That doesn't even look like a TF.

 

Yeah, that design is superior to the one they went with.

 

I hope somebody makes a Shapeways version of that sword.

 

Considering he's supposed to be the first one ever made, it makes sense (to me at least).

Looking at this guy almost makes me want to re-do my Prima kitbash....almost, lol.

^This! Also, maybe the name was on purpose- 'Prima' as in the first prototype/ original transformer ever made. He was a template for scores of generations of Transformers to come. He needn't be male nor female...I dunno, IMHO of course.

 

I was hoping they'd have the stones to make Prima female, actually. The name they were stuck with (it's from the original comics 1-80) but the gender was not determined.

Still, that's bad-ass. How about they run an "original 13" line and have the bad guy be that repainted Unicron?  

 

Pretty cool seeing the Matris in the sword's hilt.

I am highly impressed! He's a very awesome, regal looking design. Also, just to confirm with everyone, is this the exact version they showed at BotCon or a similar design?

Also, if you say his name as "Pry-ma", rather than "Pre-ma" it sounds much more masculine.

 

Look slike a Soul Calibur Transformer crossover! Not a bad thing.

 

why's the frontpage article say this is a figure prototype? i don't think the book mentions that at all
