First post- UPDATED 2/28 WITH DIO PICS! Hey! I've been lurking around here for quite some time admiring the fantastic work showcased here and learning and trying new techniques. This is the first of my customs I've decided to post. I've had a bio written for him for a long while and I've finally completed the custom to go with it. I would love to know what you think. Thanks for looking. Name: Metalstorm Faction: Decepticon Sub-group: Seeker Jets Function: Air to ground heavy assault Metalstorm remembers a time in the history of the Cybertronian wars when ballistic weaponry was the order of the day. Unlike laser fire which cauterizes the damage it inflicts, high powered ballistic rounds rip through armor plate leaving gaping exit wounds that gush vital fluids. Multiple wounds of this kind spell certain doom for the victims of such a barrage. Metalstorm can fire 100 high powered, explosive, armor piercing rounds a second from his custom built battle cannons with astounding accuracy. The Decepticon goal of total domination suits him just fine and he revels in the destruction that he causes. He is unpredictable and difficult to control and his fellow Decepticons are not very fond of him. They keep him around because of his sheer brutality. Autobots know to take cover when they hear the roar of his cannons. Getting caught in one of Metalstorm’s strafing runs means almost certain death. Weaknesses: Metalstorm is deaf. The constant roar of his battle cannons has done irrevocable damage to his auditory receptors. His inability to communicate with his fellow Decepticons makes him incapable of taking orders in the field and therefore dangerous and unpredictable. He is not a team player. The enormous weight of his weaponry and ammunition makes him the slowest of the Decepticon Jets. Supersonic flight is a struggle for him and even when on the attack he is perceived as lumbering compared to his Seeker compatriots. While he claims that the use of non- laser weaponry makes him a more conservative energon consumer, carrying the weight of his weaponry causes him to devour a good deal more than he conserves.
