Maximum Dinobots looks awesome. Looks like Grimlock's getting some character development here.

    Patience lad, patience

    Thanks for the news BTW

All Hail Megatron is shaping up to have some pretty sweet reveals it seems. Too bad it took a 12 issue series to get to the meat and potatoes

All Hail Megatron is looking good. Feels as though we should have got to this point a bit sooner, but it's great that we're at this point.

Maximum Dinobots continues to impress. I like it.

    Look again ;)

Finally got the AHM TPB, love it. This is a stand alone story line, right? Nothing precedes it, so I didn't miss why Prime is all beat up.

Well the story tells you what happened to Prime, but this is in continuity with the previous "-tion" series.

AHM looks to be getting better. Maximum Dinobots... I don't like the art on this one too much.

Loosely in continuity. Very loosely in continuity.

Furman really killed off Sludge? I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Meh no biggie about Sludge dying Although I have a feeling he's not dead for some reason.

AHM is finally starting to look good after 9 issues :D  I can't wait to see what happens in this one.

Why is Grimlock getting to emo now? I'd thought he would be mad, not emo...

I'm looking forward to issue 5 of Maximum Dinobots. Sludge and Sunstreaker dieing sucks. I hope somehow they survive, but I'm kinda doubtful. I'm definately not happy...but it is an interesting story.

AHM looks awesome...although I have not followed any of it so If I get into it I'll have a lot of back issues to try and find...that'll be a bitch.

Wow... AHM is really heating up! "Megatron sees all...." Awesome! About time someone started writing Megatron the way he deserves. :)

I also LOOOOOOVE that deco-style #2 cover! I hope that's the one I get when I pick up my order. :)

    Have you not read MD?

And AHM looks appalling. It starts of with the worst case of infodumping since Paul Mcgan's line in 1996, and then moves to a jumble of cliches in a typical last stand situation.

And this Megatron still has nothing on the Megatron we saw in Infiltration.

Nice cover art on Maximum Dinos. Although, I'm sure I'll end up getting Cover B when it arrives in the mail. Hopefully, it'll be just as nice.

I'm beginning to wish I hadn't. It's really boring me. Who knew you could make the Dinobots so whiny, needy and obnoxiously self-reflective?

If that's infodumping, then more power to it. It's better than Furman's characters who talk endlessly, all in the same wordy expository drone, and yet never say anything.

You mean the Megatron from Infiltration we had to assume was cool, because he never actually did anything or exuded any personality? I like the idea of that Megatron, but he never took on any life of his own.

Honestly, Shane McCarthy isn't the most gifted writer I've ever dug into, nor the most original. He has his share of cliches... but he's bringing the most character development we've seen in ages to Transformers, as well as a rather satisfying unity to the franchise, by exploring the origins of some concepts that are normally taken for granted by TF writers.

I'm sorry, but I'm failing to see any character development in AHM.

All I ever see is characters practically shouting their caricatures out at the top of their lungs.

"The experimentation on the human was most delicious..."

We get it! He's a sadistic scientist!

I wonder if Shane has ever heard of subtlety?

    Or depth?

All the 'deep' points he's made about the Decepticons and Autobots have been delivered to us with the force of a sledgehammer!

And the exposition has no justification. Why are the characters blabbing on? It's lazy writing.
