Oh pretty sweet looking. Didn't realize they were making a new wolfman movie.

Awesomesauce. I love films that don't feel the need to blow their proverbial on expensive and often ineffective cgi.

Could it be? Is there finally, finally going to be a good werewolf movie?

I mean, seriously, how long has it been? I think "Wolf" may have been the last one...

    Anyhow, looks great.

I had no idea a new Wolfman was being made, but that definitely looks great.

That looks awesome! Rick Baker does it again.

And Ginger Snaps was a good werewolf flick, as well.

Well, okay, then. I'm most certainly going to check out "Dog Soldiers" at the first available opportunity. I'll keep an eye out for "Ginger Snaps", too, though I can't decide if that title's the worst or best pun ever.

That makeup looks good, yet incredibly cheesy. I don't think I could take it seriously.

Could the casting be any more perfect?

He's still a better looking Werewolf than what ever abomination they cobbled together for Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban, at least the one in that shot looks dangerous.

Amen. That is the best werewolf movie by far.

As for this new movie, the wolfman looks just like the old one, but it doesn't really look scary to me.

Actually, that picture isn't him in his Wolf Man costume. That is him normally. Here is a picture of him in his Wolf Man costume. It's freakin' crazy and scary!!

    Dog Soldiers? I politely disagree.

I know of 2 that are better.
American Werewolf in London- okay the werewolf form was not exactly a wolf-man per se, but the mythos, the torment of the man fighting the beast within and the ghosts haunting him was genius.

But i like The Howling the best. it was a bit campy, but gawd, look at the transformation scene- i still have toothaches just watching that guy's face stretch out. and the connection between werewolf and sexuality was a curveball i didn't expect.

The werewolves in the Underworld movies were more akin to the werewolves i liked in the White Wolf RPG's but they were oh sooooo CGI that i cringed.

but old skool, Rick Baker ( who did AWiL, IIRC and Greystoke and Planet of the Apes,) style of monster making could be what saves this movie.
