Meh. Kinda looks like a pile of plastic on top of wheels. Not feelin' this design yet. Maybe robot mode images will change my mind...

reminds me of an animated toy. its funky, a bit odd, rather like a lawn mower, i do like it though. the thing i dont like is that TF animatedesque rather soapy look to the plastic, the colours always seem a bit too dull.

Aha! I knew it, WFC was going to have toys. Maybe Hasbro will release the Prime as a "test market" when the game rolls out. It wll be an intial release version to test the waters with this new style of TF. If the kids like it, they roll out the full line with the new series which we are faily sure will be related to WFC (sequel or otherwise). When the full line rolls out they will have another series-version of this Prime.

Looks good although a tad bit looking like a FAB sized toy. I hope not.
I do hope it is a voyager sized though. I felt that in TFA, cybertron prime was abit small but the voyager sized earth prime was perfect and game some good semblance of scale.

I hope it will have some darker colours or darker toned or maybe some weathering effects to match the game. And that big axe is a must have. Foldable weapon please?

agreed, i loved the oldskool g1 plastic, seemed to show detail better, this stuff looks too pearly and soft.

Looks like Hasbro is going the way of Animated this time around again. But having a toy line based from a video game alone? Very risky Hasbro.

I'm so happy that we're getting toys for this. Prime looks decent.

success depends on if there will be a cartoon based on this series , but you know they'll have their own channel and can advertise at will.
Of course I'll get it immediately!

the toy looks like it was designed by the same team who did animated, that could be a good thing.

unfortunately the alt-mode doesn't look a great deal like the conccept art, so it'll be interesting to see where the compromises are made in robot mode. i would be incredibly interested in an ultra/leader version of that robot though.

i'm still not convinced this is a delux though.

When the trailer comes out, can someone post it on Youtube for me? IGN won't work for me for some reason.

I had originally typed up a comment that I found it far too "Animated II" for my taste, but figured I'd get flamed by the TFA Defenders Squad, so I opted to skip it.

It's going to be tough for me to get interested in this line; I have no interest whatsoever in gaming, and the designs aren't grabbing me. Still, if this guy ends up with a nifty deco (darker colors and decent paint apps), I'll certainly give him a chance.

i think it looks rather like animated too, but since this is likely a delux or smaller (seriously, there is no way that large pin would be more than 3mm) pre-prod prototype we may be reading too much into the line as a whole.

it does raise an interesting point though - the animated line was arguably doing alright when it was pulled off the air, taking the accompanying toyline with it, so maybe this toyline will inheret that aesthetic. certainly the A/E/C era toys shared some common stylistic themes, although being part of the same trilogy and all that may well have been mroe of a driving factor there ;)

personally i'd be delighted to see a new line influenced by the animated look and feel - what with being a fully paid-up member of the Animated Defence Squad and all - but i can see why people might not like that style. Particularly since WFC concept art initially promised the darker, grittier designs the fandom has been not-so secretly hoping for since some the mid-late 80s, and this toy flys in the face of everything we'd seen uptil now.

actually, just did some back-of-***-packet calculations.

if that main pin is 3mm he's roughly 13cm long in alt-mode, which would make him a fairly respectable delux.
