Awesome! I had my fingers crossed for a Voyager of this guy, and it looks like it paid off. If the Bot mode does a good job of replicating the movie-bot, he is SO bought.
He's looking AWESOME! Definitely does look like a Voyager, which is something I've been hoping for. I would have been ok with a Deluxe, but with a design as awesome as his, he deserves a Voyager at the very least, if not a Leader. I can't wait to see the bot-mode of this figure. I'm currently planning on getting this version, the FAB version, and the RPM version of him. If we get a Legends class version of him, I can see myself getting that too. The only one I'm not sure of is the RH version, as the forest green color looks odd, imo. Though I may change my opinion when I see him in-person. Long Haul is my favorite of all the new Decepticon designs. It's interesting, and somewhat odd, imo, to see Voyager Ironhide and Prime in bot-mode style packaging. I'm still thinking about getting this Voyager Prime instead of the Leader, then get Voyager Megs, and hopefully a Voyager Jetfire instead of the Leader. The parts that have been pure gray on past versions of this Prime mold still look more tan on this version, which is the one major thing that bothers me about it. The bad looking fade job on the big Autobot logo on the side of his truck-mode does bother me, but that won't be too hard to fix/get rid of. I just hope those parts look more gray when I see him in-person.
I really like Long Haul's design, so, I'm happy to see this! I'll be looking forward to photos of his robot mode.
Longhaul looks interesting, his being shifted to a maybe -- robot mode will be the decider. Don't like Voyager Optimus all that much, but Ironhide is now promoted from a maybe to a must-buy. Like them being packaged in robot mode, though.
Man, do I want his bot mode to be good. There are some big chunks of plastic though - could be pretty kibbly. *eagerly awaits bot-mode pics* He would be the third toy I'm interested in from ROTF.
Hell yes! Ever heard of FAB long haul? perfect size..... seriously, this looks really nice, can't wait for mine!
FAB Long Haul would work better, imo. He's about Deluxe class size, and would still fit in with the Movie aesthetic. Edit: I can see one downside to this guy being a Voyager, it means there's one less Voyager figure that could be one of the arm-bots, or Soundwave, or someone else who needs a larger-than-Deluxe-class figure. Oh well, Long Haul is awesome, so that makes up for it. I can see Hightower being a Voyager (pretty much just because of his alt-mode), and Scrapper being a Deluxe. Though part of me was hoping the arm-bots would be the same size class.
Finally, the main Constructicon I've been waiting for. Definately glad he is a voyager. He was the only Constructicon that I played with as a kid. I lost a lot of the pieces to make devastator, and he was the only individual bot that seemed to work right.
about th custom Dev theres voyagers that arent much bigger than a deluxe so it could still work. either way I know someones gonna make it work and make it awesome at the same time
