I'm seriously at the point where I don't understand why people who don't like things post so much?

Here we have a main character from every incarnation of Transformers (he even was in Beast Wars) and people find it necessary to wonder why he is getting the plastic love.
 

If this were Leader Toasterbot I could understand it.

 

I don't like his general design or any toy of it released thus far, but this does look really good and will most likely get it.

Wait a minute. Just looking at the picture again...where are his back wings? Please tell me he has them? That was the single most glaring detail missing from the first Voyager toy, and the aspect of the new Voyager that really convinced me to buy it. If the Leader doesn't, I fear that might well be a deal-killer for me.

A Starscream with no wings just don't look right.

 

Eh, I'll have to wait for finished pics to make a judgement on it.

 

I love it, too bad I'm done collecting though.

 

I guess this looks all right, but I'll stick with the Voyager.

I'm really confused by all of the people hoping this is not a scaled-up voyager. Just at a glance it is obvious the design isn't even in the same ball park.

 

Nice! Bot mode is lookin' good. I hope the chest area is more filled out than the ROTF voyager version. Seriously,i can't stand the flat,pancake chest on my rotf Screamer(in bot mode),you can almost see right through him,booo! Bring on the Leader version.

I meant gimmicks wise besides electronics and sounds, he'll just have the same stuff from the Voyager from what I'm seeing right now.

I'm not a fan of this Starscream character-wise. He's almost as bland as Energon Screamer. Therefore, he's a big PASS.

I hated energon screamer too, but I like the way the character is portrayed in rotf a lot (just stating my opinoin). As for the gimmicks, it is apparently meaning a much more accurately depicted toy which awesomely fine by me! This figuer is gonna rock balls so hard, it isn't even funny. I almost thought that it was a proto for. The robot replica at first, but I saw there was a left hand. Leader screamers proportions look spectacular to boot which has been problematic amongst the community if I remember correctly. This is soooo bought. Like I said before, one word, mine!

 

By chance have you read Reign of Starscream? Curious if that phases someones opinion when combined with the two movies.

 

I guarentee this was designed by Kawamori Shoji himself for a perfect transforming F-22 toy. Only concern I have is how the back area looks like and if there is a huge battery box. Aside from that, the mechalive/push down button for light and sound looks very hidden unlike Jetfire and Megatrons. It seems to be on the same line as ROTF Optimus Prime. Gimmick wise I do see the gatling gun that seems to be able to swing out, but I hope the left hand has those missile launchers. Looks promising, but 2010 for this? Damn thats a long way...

 

No, I haven't. The reason is that I'll waste my time reading something blah about a continuity I'm not a fan of .

 

I really doubt it, as I'm sure we'd probably have heard about it at Botcon or would have soon. Also remember that he had freedom of designing the robot mode as well, and that's not the case here with Starscream (which has to look like the movie as much as possible).

I'd reccomend at least giving it a shot, it's mostly robots w/great art & characterization.
