Eh, Jetfire might still be his own figure. Not only would he be bigger than Optimus, but without the electronics, there's a lot more room to cram vehicle mode bulk. Especially since a MPM Jetfire wouldn't require a lot of articulation, just be stable enough to change between plane, robot, and armor.

 

Guys, is it true that even the latest batch and even the TT version still has QC issues? The is the first Optimus figure I haven't bought since it came out on launch.

 

New Zealand. They put out more stock this weekend. There was about 30 Bee’s and a dozen Prime’s.

Mighta been inteeested in the rubber tires, but this price is still cheaper than that shipped.

 

I would like to see the next versions of the mould in the same type of blue.

I thought it outclasses the ROTF leader in every way. It really brings out how outdated the ROTF leader looks now.

 

Still messing up with my 2 (now 3) almost weekly.

How abt those guns & weapons kit recently released by Mr Bucket MR-01?

 

There's a kit from a company called Mr. Bucket that's basically updated versions of the UFO accessories to work with both MPM4 and ROTF Leader using new hands. The hands have alternate backs that can attach the knuckle duster, swords, and hooks

 

I'm not there personally. I definitely think the robot mode is better on mpm 4, but I much prefer the vehicle mode and transformation of RotF leader Prime.

Iron Warrior (responsible of the upcoming TFP dmk figures) it's making a JetFire armor too.

 

I agree that the vehicle mode on the ROTF Leader is better, though, I find the improvements on the MPM's robot mode to make significant contributes to why I think the MPM is superior. I mostly display my figures in robot mode so I find that to be a priority. It's a shame the MPM had such terrible tolerances, otherwise, it could have definitely stood as the definitive movie Prime in a larger number of collectors' eyes. I predict an eventual "Buster" MPM will steal the spotlight from Leader Prime.
