First look at MPM Optimus Prime?

    I really wish ROTF Optimus Prime would just retire. I know an OS isn't official product, but it feels so lazy at this point to try to continue milking the figure. Doubt anybody can unsee the old headsculpt once they've handled MPM-4's visage

    And honestly ROTF OP is still amazing for the era it was released in. It'll forever be a flagship product in its own rights. It's just time to pay respects to it by not reiterating a literally degrading mold (from what I understand, plastic and figment became jankier every time the figure was officially rereleased)

    Some neat improvements such as the mirrors, the new positioning if the smokestacks, and the tires. But in a post MPM-04 world I have to agree with eltonlin98's comment below.

    Also... That back pack... bleh!

    Right? Are they really gonna spring those same sound clips onto us? Cause I have no qualms with doing away with I AM OPTIMUS PRIME and GUHGUgHGUHH truck sounds in favor of a sleeker backpack

    This KO doesn't even change up the sculpt noticeably outside that unelegant square rear wheel arch piece. As you might say, this is backwards thinking

    I already have 4 variations of the RotF mold... It is cumbersome, so it needs those extra ratchets!

    Maybe with improvements too? That way we don’t need to wait for someone like UT or AA to make their own. Also it doesn’t need to be that much larger. Just a centimeter or two to better match with Bee
