The friggin' roof hinges are STILL backwards lol! A copy of MPM04 with properly installed roof hinges is going to be a luxury collector's item 20 years from now.

Yeahhhhh... OR they will fix it and re paint it one billion times, so this is actually the collects piece. Kind of like Hot Wheels that have errors.

Sooooo...just a heads up, the second run of this guy and bumblebee should be hitting brick and mortar TRU towards the end of this week.

Haha yeah, Optimus hasn't made it to Canada at all yet. Maybe with some luck, we'll only get the corrected second run, and skip all the QC drama?

Either way, I reeeeeally hope this second run fixes the major issues (besides the hilarious roof hinges aparently). I still want this figure, but got scared away by all the QC/design flaws. Fingers crossed they manage to correct the mistakes and FINALLY deliver the figure we're hoping for.

Still can't find it in Cali.

Called the same store that somebody said the scalper walked out with 4 at opening... It was true, and the guy said there has been a few in and out of the store since then.

Funny thing is, I call all of the near stores every shipping day they have... always "0" so I think people walk in and grab them before the computers even register that the stores have them...

It will be better if Hasbro made official announcement.
It's kinda hard for the buyers don't have an idea what they're waiting on stores is the first run or the alleged second run of MPM-4.

Another thought I'd like to see represented on the next rendition following MPM-4!

I like that this figure has a pointing finger. I think it'd be extra neat if for the DOTM version, HasTak could fuse his pointer finger with his middle finger to give us the two-prong effect. That way they don't have to risk consumers posing the figure with obscene gestures, and we can still get our movie accuracy

Of course, one should never discard the possibility of fully articulated 3P finger digits, but one can discard the official possibility of this ;)

Still waiting for a final verdict on the Takara version before even thinking about getting an allegedly fixed Hasbro one. I want my smooth bonnet too

(That light grey better knocks the ball out of the park in-hand.)

@eltonlin98 well it's true that Prime tends to point with *two* of his fingers than one (that scene above and one piece of official/concept art), it kinda ruins the trigger finger look regarding the gun IMHO.

And 3rd parties are working on fully articulated fingers.

By then, I'm hoping we've already evolved from the gun, and are gonna dive into official representations for his knuckle dusters

Those are old stock photos where the hinges between the chest pieces & ab pieces are exposed. Those are posted quite a while ago.
