I guess you missed the giant Takara logo on the box.

 

More than likely going to wait on the takara version, I get the feeling that theirs will look a lot like the box art, and won't skimp on the paint. Hopefully the lower arms will receive a splash of red.

Also, it looks like the rear wheel arches fold around the tool boxes and sit flush with the fuel tanks

 

I feel like any comparison you can make with this guy is unfair since he's clearly mistransformed in every picture. This is just like MP Bee's reveal. Once Takara's stock pictures come out, everyone will be drooling.

 

Oh gawd take my money. Yup that\'s all I\'m gonna say.

 

Ummm, it's actually both. TakaraTomy's label is on the box, too, and they were still the ones that designed it. Because Hasbro and Takara share a pool of designers for specific aspects of the brand.

I always like it when the double standard of fans is revealed.

Yeah wondering about the stacks too. They look bad like that so I hope it is just someone forgot to extend them. If not, I'm sure some third party will make replacements, but would rather it just come properly out of the box.

Also any word on MP-10 trailer compatibility? If it will be, I'll have to go grab a KO one to use with him!

I'd rather get the Movie the Best version. The only thing the MMP does better is the face swap. Everything else? Meh. Done before

 

This IS the tiara version. Do you not see the Takara logo on the box? The Movie MP figures seem to be completely core leased by BOTH Hasbro and Takara.

The smokestacks extend. They're actually supposed to retract for robot mode to be CGI accurate, but were clearly not obvious to whomever transformed this.

 

And like all movie figures, it looks absolutely horrible. Can't wait until this movie is out and over-with so that the front page isn't flooded with movie news anymore.

 

Certainly looks like the hitch has the two slots for MP-10's trailer. But could it really fit - MP-10 has a ridiculously thick/tall back section of the cab - like half way as tall as the cabin. Surely if you put MP-10's trailer on this it'd be nose down?

Next comes:
3. Full photo gallery/redemption
4. Factory leaked figures
5. Super early foreign language review (+/- some element of filth)
6. In hand/everyone comes around

 

Like I understand the whole to each his own thing, but I can never understand what comments like these add to the discussion.

 

I don't HATE it, but wake me when WeiJiang oversizes it, with improvements. They made magic happen with the Evasion mold.
