So now the question of whether to make the jump for MPM-4 and risk the faults (fix em myself) to reduce the risk of getting duped (B A M B O O Z L E D) into buying an MPM-4 online. Maybe brick and mortar is still the safest option, even if distribution might suck and the scalpers come out to prey

 

I want to see how is the final product of that KO, but looks like has the same issues of tabbing as the original

 

Relax. It's an official prototype. And the mpm Bee KO is a troll listing. The seller does this regularly.

 

Oh is an official prototype, yes that explains the red pieces, every prototype from a 3P is full grey or white, while the official ones uses plastic from other colours, why though.

Seriously,Wei jang will do everything this figure needs,More transformation steps,Better paint,Improvements to the mold and best of all Better scale and rubber tires.

 

Personally, if they were going to fix the scale, I'd rather they shrunk Bee a bit. A larger Optimus means he won't be compatible with other mainline figures.

 

He actually can be taller tho, not as taller like wj commander, but taller a bit without making a disproportion.


AlienAttack (ST Studio) can make a 1:1 KO tho.

Of course he'll need a new head and corrected alt. mode or no deal...

 

And then what about MPM Skids and Mudflap?

They can burn in the hell of racist caricatures and appalling designs whence they came. HasTak better not waste MPM slots on those grotesque abominations.

 

Just save them a slot for the Ice Cream Truck and I'm good  

 

I do have some ideas in mind  
hopefully I can get them down on paper soon, but it would allow the filters to be in the proper position, and improve the overall shape.

Well, appearance and "profiling" aside, I like them. I'm not sure how "slots" go, but they were pretty relevant in ROTF.

In my previous display I had HA Bumblebee holding HA Twins back as they were fighting each other. I thought it worked well for the "family photo."

These are some great designs. The only difference is the section above the fuel tank. I would split the existing blue panel 2 thirds along, and have a diagonal double hinge. This would shrink the panel in bot mode while hiding the blue and revealing the back of it with the silver section. It also creates space for the fender section to sit in  

 

I'm really starting to hate this figure, when it should be the one that I love above all other toys. Since this figure was revealed, I always just assumed that everybody messing with the figure was just placing his sun visor things in the wrong position, because so many people do the exact same thing with the ROTF Leader mold.

Where the flat part of the visors are facing towards the front of Prime, not at their cool angle with the flat parts facing up, like in the pic below. I just assumed that they could be angled properly since the Leader mold could do it, and this one is supposed to be a real masterpiece.

And now I just barely realized that the MPM doesn't even give you the option to display them properly. If you get the flat part facing up, it'll look like the MPM pic above. So you have to display them with the flat part facing the front.
To me, that's even a bigger failure than the lack of orange hood paint, and the belly flames. I'm definitely not buying this now. This really fuckin sucks. To me, other than the wrong shade of yellow, MPM Bee is perfect. But MPM Prime is a joke.
