That means they're perfectly comfortable releasing items with known flaws even it's an important character.

Good lord, MPM OP's review is going to be one of the most complex and comprehensive reviews I've done to date. I'm still trying to compile and organize all the information and find the best way to present it. This is definitely going to be a project that requires multiple days of filming. (^.^')

Sigh... Don't figure producers know that it actually takes more work to review stuff with flaws than perfect figures? Think of the reviewers! (^o^')

From what i hear, Hasbro asia rushed the release for their market to be in point with the anniversary of the first movie and the release of the new film, so, the people will give attention to the merchandise before they won't care anymore about the items and toys related to the movies like every movie year.
So they rushed the production for their own market, that could explain why notrab was worried and why he doesn't have some paint apps.

That's such a stupid decision, because the only people buying these MPMs are serious TF collectors—people who are old enough to understand that the figures don't have to coincide with the anniversary of the movie to the day! I don't need to own Prime and Bee on July 4, 2017, I just want figures that aren't horribly rushed and don't have glaring flaws!

Yeah, and barricade comes at the end of the year anyway, so it doesn't help if they release somes now, because at the end of they year there are still MPM releases.

Yeah, Hasbro Asia made a dirty move then if that info. (Wich makes sense) is true.
It was released at the launch of the film, but it was supossed to be released even in july or september for other markets, the production is still not finished.
And Notrab being a hasbro asia worker, he inform us about this.

Wait, so the released MPM-04s were early releases that weren't supposed to be released yet due to quality issues?

    Kinda.

Basically they said that Hasbro Asia rushed the first of the production to be in point with the launch of the movie in their market.

Notrab weeks ago said that he still needed some impprovements by Takara, but BOOM, it was released already in singapore.

First of the production you say. Then I reckon the next wave is probably going to be out by July or August, which would be a good thing considering I'll be in Singapore by then

To be honest wouldn't be surprised if it is already sold out and they won't put more.
What could be bad is that every MPM Prime would have the same issues.

The american, japan, and european markets are still a little far away to have this dude.

They need to fix these issues, and they're still in time.

Idk what you guys are rambling about and even comparing mpm-04 to the likes of mp-09 and such. i dont see many noticeable things to complain about other than minor things like not enough paint apps but have you seen the actual 3d model? damn theres already lots of paint apps as it is only problem is they paid attention to the wrong areas where more prominent areas like the feet and such were sacrificed but hey there are more diecast in compensate for it comparing to mp10. bare in mind mpm4 is $200 whereas mp10 is $240 or around there atleast. with that of a transformation, detail and how close it looks to the movie is just simply amazing. all i'm saying is that shouldnt u guys be grateful at how it is already? amd not bring it to a low level with mp rodimus and even the old megs. anyways just wanna let my opinion out there on this discussion. on the side note mp optimus in hand is just waaaaaay awesome compared to pictures. i've had the figure for 3 days already and i'm still at awe and amazement at how amazing the figure is. :)

Oh yeah, the problem here is that it could be better if they didn't rushed the launch (only in hasbro asia), like the tabbing of the windows panels in the vehicle mode.

The robot mode is impressive for me, and thanks to actar that we know that windows cam get closer and sit lower, this makes my favourite optimus figure of the movieverse.

But what if it was planned to be the way it is from the start? maybe they didnt intend on painting the diecasted parts just to give a movie and realistic feel? since bee's diecasted parets arent painted if im not wrong. as for the transformation, mine dosent seem to have much of a problem probably the instruction sheet itself isnt that clear maybe we missed a crucial step somewhere, as i did face that problem with prime's chest but its close to perfect now. Probably we should calm down and wait for a profesional to show how its done like optibotimus haha.
