If they can improve on the Leader Op i'll be amazed and waiting in line with money in hand. I was hoping they'd give the MPM treatment to the new AOE version of OP, but i'll take this one happily.

I already have the Leader that was re-released with a jet pack for DOTM, so I don't really have a need for a "better" version of the original trilogy Optimus, unless it by some miracle has a less painstaking transformation. Hoping this is fake and they try to tackle the new trilogy Optimus, who could really use some engineering wizardry.

Quick! Everyone overanalyze this blurry screenshot of a CG render.

Please, ROTF Prime's transformation is a piece of cake (see my sig for visual proof). Also, ROTF Prime is far from perfect with inaccuracies in its appearance, proportions and transformation scheme. I want them to make the MPM as accurate and as complicated as they can possibly make it without compromising its structural integrity. I want another figure that can keep me marveled for a decade just like ROTF Prime has.

It's very impressive if legit. It looks like a normal movie model.

My comments from the other thread:

Putting aside whether it's real or not, here is what I can make out:

    - Better proportions (Bigger feet/shorter forearms)
    - Slimmer profile (No voice box/Mech-alive)
    - Greatly reduced backpack (To movie-accurate size, at least)
    - No more ROTF Leader kibble (Toolbox on legs)

This is more than enough to make me super-hyped.

Now, the only problem is if it has a movie-accurate transformation scheme. I don't doubt that the chest panels form the front windows, but do the legs form the sleeper and the arms form the front? Hm...

Thanks for the anecdote but it doesn't prove that it is easy or change the fact that it takes others so long. It just proves that you can do it faster than some other people can. It's impressive, but that's because it's an outlier but that doesn't justify behaving condescendingly. There are people out there that don't take pleasure in the transformation; even your signature addresses that. Maybe people after getting a thorn in their side don't intend to go back to where they got it?

The proportional issues, inaccuracies and appearance? So far, the new Prime design has it far worse and demanding more seems a little much considering the mold is one that has several people doubting that they can do better. Making something that people already have a rough time with harder is a bad idea when it's something as inconsequential as a toy.

Goodness, you have completely misunderstood my intention. My point was not to brag, my point was to show people that much of the difficulty comes from crappy instructions. Through my speed transformation video and separate tutorial video, my goal is to show everyone that anyone can easily transform ROTF Prime (or any figure, for that matter) if they take the time to understand the mold and try out alternative transformation methods.

If they lose they electronics they instantly gain a whole lot of space so no backpack, less kibble...They can also make the wheels sit more accurately on his thighs..These were my only two complaints on the ROTF mold

Also the original design had the cab steps unfold to streamline and bulk up the legs.

Yeah, ditching the electronics would be the way to go IMO. I like the leader class DOTM figure a lot ( I even kind of like the transformation) and with a few tweaks it could be an even better figure.

This, I never got the hate for RotF prime's transformation, to this day he's probably one of my favorite movie toys. Personally takes me around 4 minutes to complete.

And if this is legit, wow, just wow!!!!
