Man that's lame, I was hopeing for something diffrent that the regular packaging with a sticker

Regular Takara Galvatron reissue = cartoon colors

e-Hobby Galvatron II = original toy colors with additional lightning bolt stickers

 

man i love the look of that green matrix. The packing dosent look different from the anime galvatron, but whos complaining its an awsome box  

 

Does the green matrix represent anything significant from the show? I can't remember it ever being green....

 

The only thing I can think of is that it's a reference to the green glowy orb with some string tied round it that the Matrix was drawn as in the original Marvel Comics adaptation of the movie. It was also drawn as green a few times in Matrix Quest, wasn't it?

I dunno what people were expecting from the packaging. E-hobby normally just use generic window boxes anyway (and they were never that likely to make one so big as this. They're small run repaints.

I like it..the Fire guts GG has the same box without plastic windos as GG but hey they look very nice next to each other ..and so will this one do. The green Matrix is a nice touch. I like it  

 

This toy includes the traditional e-hobby markup. I can't seem to justify buying this considering the 1st purple one was actually the repaint.

 

But this one has extra STICKERS! zomg!

 

lightning stickers? i dont remember galvatron having any sort of lightning power, but my memory isnt what it used to be.

 

It reminds me of the Ultra Magnus reissues from a few years ago. I was hoping for something similar to the past ehobby releases but I may be able to get into this.

 

Check the older threads discussion this thing. It's from some comic book or something that showed this alternate universe Galvy with some dumb looking lightning bolts painted on him.

Some drawings of the goofy lightning bolt Galvy are in the TF Generations book. I always wondered what the hell that was about before. Anyway, if I was well off enough to buy this stuff I wouldn't give a damn about the box really, I'd just be happy to have it. The green matrix is neat.

Can't see much point in this--the original colors stunk, IMO. Seems like a weak reaction for ehobby, since Takara beat them to the repaint  

 

I think this is one eHobby release that'll have a hard time selling.

 

yeah, i can see this not selling very well. they didnt even change the comic book image. it would have been neat if they used the pciture of Galvatron II fighting ultra Magnus on top of Metroplex
