Thanks to EasyNet for the first look at Cybertron Bendy (Armada) Optimus Prime in package.
hmm so he actually uses his key? thats some major retooling...
Cool. No big surprise in how it's packaged. Now for it to just be released...
Here's a transcription of the bio, in case some folks can't make it out:
Stats all 10s except for Speed of 9.
Not really. All they did was add a Minicon connector to the underside of the Planet Key. The Minicon hardpoint on Prime's back inserts into the Minicon connector on the underside of the Planet Key; there's no added Key slot or anything like that.
Anyway, this looks neat and I like the red Autobot Planet Key. Plus, it's a great mold, so I'll definitely by getting one when it comes out.
wonder if we'll see an Overrun -vs- Blackout minicon 2 pack?
ohhh i guess that makes much more sence haha, i thought they added a slot
This is one of my favorite modes. I love the crown look too.
Looks great....though whenever I get tempted to buy it I just hug my original Bendy Prime
Although I don't like repaints I kinda like this one.
[sarcasm]So NICE to see that they included such a wonderful explanation in his bio for why he's in his Armada form...[/sarcasm]
I can't wait to see this on the peg.
(So I can look behind it for a new mold Unicron.)
I always loved the Armada Prime but was never able to get my paws on him. I'm glad I'll be able to now, especially with these new colours, they look very nice (and are my favourite repaint of the mold so far).
Good repaints I don't have a problem with. Probably pick this one up if I see it. Hopefully he and Uni are easy to find.
I'll probably pass as I've got two of them already..
Can't wait for this guy to come out. I've had a kitbash of it planned for months.
I like this guy a lot. The only thing I wish is that instead of the Autobot symbol on the hood they tried to squeeze four tiny planet symbols on him like Galaxy Force Optimus Prime.
Is there an official explaination why he's called "bendy" prime? or is it just that he's the most poseable prime ever?
Even better than the Nemesis Prime repaint?
As for the "Bendy" name, I was told it is because this figure was so much more poseable than the large Armada Prime that was also available at the time, not to mention more poseable than most of the Armada lineup.
Can i ask a quick question
Why is Optimus Prime now smaller i'm a bit behind in Cybertron and it's story , and is Galvatron going to get the same treatment as it would look silly having a 10" figure (Leader class) going up against a 7" or smaller
figure who remains to be still the Leader of the Autobots
Overall nice figure me want
