So Offroad is being repainted/reminded as First Aid, Ironhide, and probably Swindle? They're sure getting their mileage out of this mold.

 

Swindle might at least stand out a bit if they modify the front to look more like a Jeep.

That's Ironhide's head all right however I think using the Rook mold would be a better choice for him because it would help make him more buff and his vehicle mode can be remolded into an armoured SUV type truck.

 

have there already been whispers of the Combaticons coming at some point? I've missed a decent number of pages in the last couple big updates.

 

hmmm with offroad getting 3 confirmed uses and possibly a fourth via fan built. maybe Swindle will be his own mold if we get combaticons.

a new humvee mold with some creative retooling could become a new Technobot. since Afterburner will no doubt be relegated to a Groove redeco.

 

Maybe Swindle will end up getting the legends treatment like Groove. Size wise compared to the other vehicles a Humvee is smaller. A re-tool of Rook as a new 5th would work really well.

Ironhide = Offroad, Mirage = Dragstrip, Jazz = Deadend, Optimus = Motormaster, Sideswipe = Breakdown. The only one left out, if they are to go with the G1 cartoon would be Windcharger since we got a legends size already.

Alpha Bravo has Vortexes head, Onslaught is a fairly easy retool of Hot Spot, the Combaticons were featured on the artwork of Galvatronus (Cyclonus combined mode) used in the Combiner poll & (iirc) Combaticons was one of the sets (along with Technobots) Marvelous got dirt on coming from the Nuremberg Toy Fair. I'd expect one of the those 2 to be wave 1 2016, which will probably make it's way out in December.

They aren't following the cartoon exactly: the G1 Stunticon reduces per Wal-Mart computer listings are Ironhide, Sunstreaker, Mirage and Prowl, Prowl being the curiosity ~ could he end up a repaint of First Aid or Streetwise? (isn't he an SUV in the most recent comics?)

 

Agreed...Brawn having a less distinctive chest helps a lot.

 

Little disappointed that he's a re-use of Off Road (which most saw coming), but whatever. It's only the CW version. I'm sure Masterpiece or 3rd party will do him more proper down the road.
