Why hasn't Hasbro tried doing this with GI Joe? Serpentor can become his chariot, Sgt. Slaughter can turn into the Warthog, etc...

I don't get it, who buys these? They look like awful toys. Do kids actually like these things? Why buy these when you can get a sweet ass Generations or ROTF deluxe?

Shame, so much for potential for something cool, and that's the best they could come up with?

I actually like this guy and have been looking for news on him for a while now. He looks better proportioned than a lot of other Star Wars Crossovers.

Well, I do :) . I'm not sure if kids would buy this though, if I was their parent, I certainly would encourage them to get the much cheaper mainline deluxes instead, because these things are fragile. But I like Star Wars Transformers for the novelty factor.

I dont mind these things, and I have a few of the better ones (Mil falcon is excellent), but this guy is underwhelming. The transformation looks pretty close to 'face dive him into the floor and stick the gun on his back. He looks like he has a load of exposed robot parts on the underside of the alt mode.

    I like star destroyers.....
I'd love to see a Non clone version.. like a real one..

The transformation seriously reminds me of Classics Silverbolt/skyfall/darkwind..

I used to buy these, just to have Star Ward vehicles in this smaller scale but I leave them in package. Once I got the holy Grail millenium falcon in vehicle mode though, I haven't bought another since.

They buy them because they are rabid Star Wars fans that buy anything with Star Wars on it, They even shell out good money for poorly made films with huge plot holes, poor acting, and absolutely insane and downright stupid characters that add nothing to the mythos and in fact, reflect poorly on them as fans. Even to the point of condemning fellow fans that see them as just poorly disguised money grubbing ventures. All because it says "Star Wars" on the package.

It's a trash can that transforms into...Anakin Skywalker!

It's an Ewok that transforms into....Anakin Skywalker!

For pete's sake, enough of the Clone Wars formers. Yoda was about the farthest we should have to go with these. I'm tired of seeing Anakin formers or Obi Wan formers, or Clone Troopers.

Well I guess that explains why I haven't seen this one on shelves. I thought it was a wave mate with the Republic Fighter Tank.

That is asked in every single Star Wars TF thread.

This line has been around since 2006 and doesn't appear to have an end in sight. Clearly, quite a few people are buying them.

I for one buy one of each new mold for the alt-mode vehicles since that mode is where most of my interest is at. I couldn't care less who the characters are.

I can see SOMEONE buying them if they wanted a Venator Star Destroyer toy as there aren't any that size .. other than that...

What would sell better would be if a remold of this was made into Spaceball-1 and it transformed into Megamaid! I'd actually buy that. It does look a little like Megamaid...

I never got why it was never Transformers in the Star Wars universe. Starscream as a Tie Fighter with storm trooper pilot.. Prime could be an x-wing or something. Millenium Falcon Sky Lynx. That would be somewhat more plausible and cooler than this crap.
