November 27th will mark the triumphant return of the almighty Futurama with the first of 4 straight to DVD films. Check out the cover art:

Featuring Al Gore and Fry's ass it's sure to be a jolly good romp. The next 3 films are scheduled to be released throughout 2008.

    Pre order at Amazon.

    So, uh, anyone else excited?

Awesome. I just hope bringing it back doesn't tarnish its legacy (looking at you, Family Guy).

I have to agree with that. I thought bringing back Family Guy was an awesome idea until I saw what kind of a suck it turned out to be.

I hope Futurama doesn't suck as much as Family Guy when it comes back.

Has Hermes been reduced to a head in a jar?

I know one guy who'll love this news and probably be preordering once I tell him - if he hasn't already found out and put his order in.

Woohoo! It never really sunk in that Futurama was coming back (even though I heard the news), but now that I finally see a listing for the DVD and the cover, it's finally hit home!

This is great! Best news I've heard in a long time!

They seem to have a good working relationship with Gore, probably due to the fact that one of his daughters is a writer on the show.

YES! Futurama was SO great. I really can't understand why they brought back Family Guy instead. Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of Family Guy episodes, but it's lost its novelty.
