So huzzah, I found the Bumblebee VS Barricade 2-Pack in Canada today! And I'm so freaking happy, I pick it up without paying attention to the actual toys inside. So, I get to work, open it up. And instant disappointment. Bumblebee will not stay in vehicle mode. His front piece keeps flipping down into robot mode. Nothing keeps it in place. And in robot mode, the autobot emblem piece is too 'flimsy' and keeps flopping down. Then I went to Barricade, instant disappointment vanished. Love it. The vehicle paint apps aren't the greatest, but I'm loving robot mode, and the little black car mode looks sick when transformed. Very awesome little toy.

Now for my actual question; are these the deluxe versions of the toys? Or are their going to be separate toys released for Barricade and Bumblebee?

I'm officially loving the movie toys thus far! : D

 

Those are both the normal deluxes, nothing special or different about them.

 

My guess is you got the defective Bee. Jut buy another one, replace the good one with yours, and return it.

 

I'm not a Bumblebee owner, but have you checked into the molding problem on this figure?

 

What store did you get it through? TRU excl?

 

It's a Walmart exclusive, and you save like 4 bucks by buying it.
