Well I will be doing my first custom using the 1:24 model of the Apache

Stay tuned as I hopefully make this very awesome movie based figure of my second favorite TF character, this will go up for auction on ebay once I'm finished to raise money in order to help me gain some extra cash for a car. This is best pic I can do until I get the figure underway, I will provide my layout plans for the model itself

    Wish me luck guys

What kit are you planning on using.
I got a 1/48 Academy AH-64A Apache a couple of months ago for Movie Whirl,Its a seriously cool kit with a shed load of details.

The 1/48 scale is about Voyager scale, however Apache's are really skinny.

    Look forward to seeing more.

Hey guys thanks for the response!

It is the 1:24 model set, it will be a leader class figure, btw i'm using the diecast version of the apache models, the "snap and screw" box set. I figure if I'm going to make a proper movie character. why not start out with the best?

But I do have a few questions and one of them is about joints? I know many people have asked questions about joints and unfourtaently i have to join that group as well

Here is the question, what make good joints?

That was what I was thinking I should do? I figured I should just go buy a set and see what I can make of it, of course there will have to be alot of editing to the arm parts then if I do. But hey, thankyou very much for your feedback buddy.

Of course there could be a very likley chance he won't transform. and the reason why is because I wanted to make a substantially large figure instead of having to worry about space and parts coming together, but oh well we will see guys, I will try to get him to transform

No prob, I figured that if I ever built a Transformer from scratch I would use those for extra pieces and such, so I thought it might help.

    Actually the truth..horrible

Ha just kidding, right now i'm having problems with a good head skulpt so i'm going to have to start from scratch..

Other then that, 30% of the upper body will be finished soon

Yes I know i'm slow but i'm putting ALOT into this because I need to be able to auction this off for some good money.

Anyways, I'm going to start on the legs tommorow, however my new job hasen't allowed me the hours to continue working on him. At the moment i'm however doing some minor details to the body, wish me luck..sorry if I don't have picks of the progress! They will come soon!!
