OK kids - let's see how far back you can go. What was the first concert you ever went to? For me, it was Cinderella and David Lee Roth, in 1986. Fantastic show, back when Steve Vai was with Diamond Dave, and Cinderella was just coming on the scene. "Technically", you could say my first ever was Dolly Parton in 1981, but since I went under protest I don't consider it a first!
Sorry man, Dolly was your first! Shouldn't have told us! My first concert, back in....... '97 I believe was Reel Big Fish headlining, support acts were Aquabats and a little no-name band called Kara's Flowers, who went on to become Maroon 5. They were actually the best band that night. hehehehehehehehehehehe
Wow! Nice! I first saw Cinderella in 1995 during the Still Climbing Tour. But my first concert was Soundgarden one year earlier in 1994

Real shows not sponsored by a school? 95 or 96, Pantera. I can't for the life of me remember the opening acts. I almost got to work the show but decided it'd be smarter to just watch. My friend who did work the show had a cool story about Dimebag making his death a bit harder to take. I think maybe coal chamber opened for them? Man this is going to bug me.
It was Coal Chamber and possibly Machine Head. I saw that tour as well! For the record, I am not a fan of Coal Chamber.
I was for the first album. The year before was deftones and white zombie then. That show I regretted not going to. This area was live with metal concerts until about 2000 or 2001. Then I got too old haha.
First concert performed in or attended? First performed in 4th grade. Latest performed March 4, 2011. Upcoming April 30, 2011. Been to several live performances at the Fair. Most memorable was Uncle Chunk. Latest non-Fair was STOMP in 2005.
Erasure's Wild Party at Milton Keynes Bowl in 1990, followed a few months later by Depeche Mode's World Violation tour.
I saw Jean Michel Jarre with my parents in the mid 80s - at Londons Docklands - Huge lasers everywhere! Then saw Therapy and Radiohead around about 91-92
