First BotCon! Need Help Making Friends!

    Hey there everyone,


    Just as the title says, I hardly know anyone in the Transformers fandom and would really appreciate it if some of you guys would hook up and pal around with me (or any other variant of the phrase) I'd really like to get to know some of you guys and make as many friends as I can.

    I hope you'd do me the honors of helping out a newb like me enjoy his first BotCon to the fullest and cement a life-time worth of memories and friendships
    along the way.

    It wont take you long, drop by the parts party and introduce yourself and you will make a ton of friends fast, last year the people I was meeing up with came a few days after so I didn't think id meet anyone until then but as soon as I walked in the doors sol fury came up and introduced himself and then I met a ton of people.

    As has been mentioned many times over the years. Proper use of a shower and antiperspirant will go a long way towards making friends.

    The above is a general disclaimer and is not intended to single out the orignal poster or any other poster in this thread... except you, yeah you swamp thing, take a shower for God sake!

    At my first convention all I did was hang around outside the dealer's room and when the appropriate opportunity arose I would insert myself into a conversation (i.e. someone had a question and no one else in the group knew the answer).

    Remember to use soap during said showers. Many con goers forget that little detail. Wet dog smell + Elevator = BAD COMBO.

    For the love of god shower, waiting in lines for hours with stinky bastards is not fun please take the 5 minutes to clean yourself.

    Given past conventions, I'll be happy if everyone showers and uses deoderant. If they forget to brush, I can at least offer them a tic-tac... the ones for BO are way to expensive.
