    Hi all,

This is my first attempt on any sort of modification (painting or otherwise). Took me about a week to do this, and there's still some final touch up to do, lol

Wanted to make this into more anime feel, hence the solid paints on main body and details.

Didn't have any masking tape or pen, so had to use the traditional way of "free hand" for those straight lines :D

Wish i know how to do some decal or something to add more details to this fig.

If this turn out to be close to what i hope it would be, then will eventually do some Movie figures :)

    Sorry for long post.
    Thanks

    Looks good so far.

If you are interested in doing decals, you can get decal paper that works with an inkjet printer to create you own decals, there are limitations though. You could also pick up stickers from Reprolables to give him some extra detail.

Looks good! Did you paint with brush or spraypaint? I think there's not much need for decals, but thats my 2 cents.

btw, what version of Prime is this?

Classics (just like in the title) Unless you're asking about what its supposed to be now that its a new color, then the answer is Powered Convoy, which was a Diaclone (pre-Transformer) color variation of Optimus, as he was "powered" up, since he had the car-carrier trailer that turned into an armor suit (which was brought to Transformers and painted up and re-named Ultra Magnus)

Looks great... It's tempting to do a powered convoy repaint like this as well... And great work on free handing the stripes.

great paint apps man! very smooth brush work and the lines are incredibly clean for freehand. if this really is your first (i think you're lying), then i can't wait to see what you come up with next.

what paint did you use btw? enamels?

    Thx!

Painted a few plastic bottle cover to try out the paints before this :p

Used citadel acrylic. Ultra marine blue (the only blue the store sell, haha).

Blimey, I hadn't spotted this one before - thank Crunchie for frontpaging! :D

This is a beautiful bit of work - smooth as Baldie Lee. And all hand-done too. Top notch.
I'm particularly liking the way you made use of the backs of the knees to get that hazard-striping effect.

And this is your first repaint? One to watch, clearly.
