Kinda sad that people are jizzing over a silhouette. I can't imagine what porn must do for you. It's impossible to tell if it's Powermaster Optimus Prime - Animated or otherwise. Anyway, I'm pretty happy with my Wingblade Optimus Prime as it is.
Then you haven't being paying attention to the thread. The exact picture that the silhouette is crudely blacked-out from is contained within. And it's the Animated Powermaster concept.
It's internet hperbole, champ. I'm not actually bricking it to a silhouette of a goddamned toy. And you don't even want to know what porn does for me. Except it's pretty clearly Animated. It matches the model exactly from what we can tell, and it says, right there on the picture, "KEEP ANIMATION ALIVE" which makes it really obvious this is meant to be Animated.
The drawings from AAII showed a new Optimus Prime mold. I wonder how this one will work. I'm positive that it can be pulled off, since we've seen that the original OP mold can yield a trailer as well as armor. What I'm more concerned with is if they can stay true to the animated aesthetic. Animated Leader Ultra Magnus expertly did this. Though his vehicle mode was blocky and extremely traditional in terms of animation style, his robot mode maintained the Animated aesthetic very well. Hopefully they can pull this off with this armor. On that note...please take my moneyz.
First of all are you looking at the same image as the rest of us? lol. VERY clearly meant to be Animated Power Master Prime Secondly its not really intended to replace Wingblade, the Animated PM armor is a natural progression of that design to the next stage (even though the Almanac specifies that Sentinel had it constructed to solidify his power base as the next Magnus)
Definately intrigued, between this, the motormaster silouett and the announced 3rd party stuff i'm going to be buying alot of stuff on a year i didn't expect to buy much.
Like Springer? Or Cybertron Cryo Scourge? or ROTF Soundwave? I think Triple CHanger is anything Hasbro labels it... but to my knowledge they were not labeled Triple Changers. Some Beast Wars had "3 Mode Conversion"....I think some commercials called Depth CHarge and Rampage Triple Changers, and the IDW Beast Wars Sourcebook called some character Triple Changers. Never any version of Beast Wars Megatron was called one though. See, "3 MODE CONVERSION"
We know even less about that then we do this. At least with this, we know what they're going to try to make it look like. For Motormaster, the only thing we know is that it's designed for the BotCon set. Anything else is fair game. No pictures have been shown, not even a blacked-out silhouette.
hot digity damn, I can't wait to see how this bad boy looks, REALLY hope and think it's animated powermaster, may have to get voyager prime for this
there IS indeed a blacked out silhouette for Motormaster but we still know more about this than that in that this is trying to be a rendition of the design seen in the almanac the motormaster thing is, seemingly, its own thing either way.... DO.WANT.
