Haha! No, but seriously, I wouldn't buy that, but I wonder if any dealer would have the ball bearings to sell that at a convention. Would there have to be a curtained off area like in the back of old rental stores? Or would it just be like a hotel room only thing like in the final years of BotCon when they banned third party from the dealer room?

Honestly, I've been to anime conventions and I've seen far worse out in the open and on display where anyone can see it.

I'm getting definite "Kill La Kill" vibes from this design. That being said, I'm all in.

 

Wasn't aware of this until today - other than the titilating promotional pictures -the only provocative part is the half-cup bra chest plate.
Over all though I don't think she looks sleazy - she might benefit from an optional chest cover for those who prefer the more angular chest - but the rest of her body is perfectly in keeping with the character.

I actually really like the car mode too - they have done a good job their - it's an update but a sympathetic one - it makes her look like a amazon warrior from a videogame in Bikini armour a bit. But it's not massively solacious compared to say Takara's last Blackarachnia or Fansproject's Lady Dinosaurs (who have the same kinda chests too - and no one through a wobbly then - as they didn't promote them sexually).

I'm keen to see more of her and if the build quality is up to par and she's a useful size - and not $100 plus then I can see me buying this as something to use with MMC like toys. She has a similar vibe to their fembots.

I'm not going to shout at them for a bit of sexual diamorphism - sometimes it's nice for a girl to be allowed to be a girl.

 

Don't have a problem with it, it's an interesting take and some intriguing engineering in addition to being sensually pleasing.

Just wish it could have been another fembot. Rather burnt out on Arcee personally.

 

I think I agreed with his opinion on this one. I'm not sure when this Arcee will be available and what the price might be (or if the quality will be there), or if it even really fits into my collection, but stylized interpretations like this are a good direction for 3rd Party companies and future projects as the MP well dries up.

Frankly this and the Firebird Windblade are the first 3P releases that have really caught my eye in a long time, far more intriguing to me than the usual MP shelf gap filler figures or Legends sized figures that have dominated the 3P market for the last few years.

 

I get where youre coming from, but at the same time i doubt this company would have garnered the same attention with a Chromia or a Firestar.

As an aside, I would LOVE to see these guys' take on Nightbird.
