I have started my second custom. I found a Silverstreak for 5.00 at Wal-Mart. I was going to paint it into a Universe Bluestreak, but I had some problems with the paint. As I was sanding it off, I started liking how it was turning out. Then I thought about TheTransTorture's work and decided to battle damage it. I have a lot more to do, but I think it has turned out pretty good so far. Update, I finished the battle Damged Bluestreak late last night. I wanted to show fluids running from some of the wounds. So with a little practice and patience, I used a hot glue gun and make lines running from the small hoses I glued in the arm. I them painted the glue black. I also used the hot glue gun to make fluid come out holes in the front, near the radiator. I then used yellow and green markers to make the glue look like antifreeze. I am happy with how it turned out. I also developed a new appreciation for this mold and have some other ideas I want to try out with it. Thanks for the comments so far. I would like to know what everyone thinks about the finished figure. Any comments or ideas are appreciated.

I agree with PK. Interesting take on Bluestreak with those silver stripes, too.

I added a few more pics. The project is going pretty fast. If I had gotten my parts today, I think I might have finished. Oh well, with a little luck and a lot of energon, maybe I can get finished tomorrow. I still need to add a few blast holes and weathering. Again, thanks to TTT for the ideas for this project. If it were not for his tutorials, I would have never known where to start.

I finished Bluestreak. I think it turned out pretty good. I got a lot of ideas from The Trans Torture's work and the tutorials he has done. I was on the fence with this mold, but I am really starting to like it. I have gotten a few more ideas on what to do with and to it. Well on to the next project.

Correct me if Im wrong, but I think Bodyshop was the first uber-damaged Transformer on the 2k5 boards. My accidental rebirth of Ricochet is nice, but pails in comparison to the works of guys like TransTorturer. Regardless of who had the first; I'm diggin your hot-glue blood-ooze trick. I think Im gonna have to try that sometime. The missing rocket is a nice touch, too. Asymetrics for the win!

PS: Is there hot-glue sticks made with glow-in-the-dark glue?

not that I know of, but you could always paint the cooled glue with GITD paint. ;)
