    Bio:

Silverback was a fieldcommander on Cybertron. He led the troops and always occupied the frontlines. An excellent leader as he was, he was always in the shadow of Megatron. He didn't care much for lives, he just cared for bodycounts. The only warrior he ever respected was the Autobot Ironhide, for his bravour and tact.

After Megatron left, the Decepticons were not as organized and scattered. Although he hates Megatron, he realises the Decepticons need him. Silverback never pledged loyalty to Megatron, only to his race of Decepticons.

That's why he goes after Megatron, to retrieve him. Crashing on the moon, he needed a lot of time to reconstruct his pod-like transformation, in order to continue his journey to Earth.

Silverback is a fighter, not a thinker. However, current events force him to think over his strategies and not make rash decisions.

On Earth, he realises the Fallen has taken supreme command. Absolutely despiting him, Silverback lays in wait, until the Fallen is destroyed. Seeing both Starscream and Megatron fleeing, he sees his oppertunity to lead the remaining Earth-Decepticons.

He trans-scans the same vehicle as Ironhide, because he wants the same benefits and downsides as the Autobot, so when Silverback defeats him, he can claim himself stronger than one of the most powerful Autobots. Having landed in a Customs Garage, he's left with no choice but to pick a stylized vehicle.

Silverback is rounding up Decepticons, secretly organizing them all over the planet. Waiting, watching and preparing.

    Motto:

"As long as I get to shoot"

    "Thinking is for fembots"

    Description:

Silverback is painted out of a TFTM Offroad Ironhide. His awful paintjob force me to repaint him.

Downside to this model are the tight joints. Good Lord, ya can't bend an elbow without worrying about breaking it!

If you've seen my Sinister Magnus; I'm gonna draw up stuff again. And thanks to Plowking, I got the idea to tag him too.

    pictures

Yes, he has a TFW2005.COM tag

Okay, all cool, then. I just found someone did an Alternator named 'Outback', and I did like that more than 'Silverback'. Anyone with a better idea? Feel free to share it.

Silverback would be a cool/appropriate name.

Looks good man. I love the tagging too, and I think the name "Silverback" could work well for him.

Okay, then. Wasn't too sure about Silverhide, because it looked too much like a Gorilla then, but it's like an upgraded Decepticon IRONHIDE. Can't use Outback, because someone already used it, so Silverback it IS. thanks for the input, people.

He looks pretty cool. How did you do the graphics on the sides? And did you give any thought to changing his head?

You mean swapping the head? Nah, I'm fine with it, especially since the paintjob on it went so well...

How did I do the graphics on the side? Free hand, baby. A steady hand and some imagination.

Not bad. Although I would've given him a new head to help give the rest of the figure some variety from the original.

There's nothing wrong with the head. It looks good in silver. I just suggested swapping out the head for the sake of variety.

Oh, like so! I was thinking of the ROTF head vs. TFTM head. I don't have any spare-heads. Aside from not being too varied, I really like his teddybear-head =p
