I'm a huge Galvatron fan. I'm disappointed in the still lack of a masterpiece representation for him, official or 3rd party. I own the Universe 2.0 one and I hate the lack of size and it's transformation/funny legs. But it's the only thing I got right now. However, I've found some other variations of him from different lines and they interest me.

I see the Cybertron one and it looks interesting, but expensive. The 10 mode RID one looks pretty cool/different too. Not too fond of the Armada or G1 variations. The Energon one looks good, I see some customs made out of this one.The Botcon 2011 one looks ok too. My question is, which one(s) are the best in your opinions?

The Energon Galvatron is the best of the bunch. You won't regret getting that one.

love both energon and cybertron versions. energon has a bit more g1 homages, while cybertron is just it's own crazy beast. both are excellent and good sizes if you're looking for a larger galvatron.

Make your own is the best bet. From what they released Superlink Galvatron is pretty damn cool.

Choosing a best Galvatron for me is like choosing the best apple out of a bunch of rotten ones. I dislike all of them, but I guess Energon Galvatron is your best bet.

No definitive version but since you want something bigger than a deluxe here's what I would consider going from most expensive to downright cheap:

-Energon Galvatron (the best so far)
-Cybertron Megatron (tab the gun on his arm or replace with a better cannon)
    -Beast Wars II Galvatron
    -Armada Galvatron
    -2007 voyager Megatron

RID is awesome but doesn't really evoke Galvatron to me.

Not one of these options is close to masterpiece level. So I would say get a stand-in you can live with and wait for either a MP or a 3rd party one.

A lot of people like that one as well. Especially because of the Shattered Glass factor. I already have the mold as Springer so I guess don't think about it much.

Here's what I use: it's an Energon Megatron from a 2 pack that comes with the deluxe Optimus. It's the same size as the Takara Galvatron.

There is a Voyager size KO of Classics Galvatron. I bought one for a friend but the site has since closed unfortunately.

I think the best may be the purple colored Takara reissue.

I want the Superlink/Ultra Galvatron done in the Energon colorscheme. The Energon figure is fine, but just too big to go with Classics figures.

True. The Energon version is beautiful, but too big. The Superlink version is the perfect size, but its colors are too...pastel? Is that fair to say?

I have the Energon one and I love it, but I do wish it was a bit smaller.

The Energon one was also available in the smaller size as part of Superlink, before it was repainted as Galvatron. The smaller figure is much nicer.

True...but the lighter colors just don't say Galvatron like the darker ones do, despite the original G1 figure being gray/silver.

any theories or rumors why a true homage to Galvatron hasn't been even hinted at?
