I woke up this morning. thinking i couldnt do it. I was debating on whether or not to even try it. after about 10 minutes of debating whether or not to even try. I finally broke down and tried it. I benched 260. I know I know. some of you can probably do more, but Ive been pushing myself so hard to get up that high.

So thats all. I've finally benched 260 lbs. Yes, I know not a lot.

Remind me NEVER to make fun of you again :p

    But good job :thumb

Yup sometimes when it comes to the weights, there's nothing to it but to do it :)

Now you better get to the store, because if you can bench 260, you're probably bustin' out of your shirts :lol

    205. Ive been told that because of my weight that it isnt that much, but still to me its hard as hell.

thats the thing. I mean Im built, but I not huge. If you looked at me you probably wouldnt think i could lift the weight.

Yeah, I know, but to shoot up to quickly can hurt the muscles. its better to build up slowly. Ive been lifting this way since I was a teenager. Ill lift at a certian weight for 2 months, shoot up 2. then another two months with the 2 lbs. then take those off then add the 5.. repeat.

Good work, dude! A few years ago, I could hit around 250. Are you building up to a certain weight, or are you just doing this for fun?

I want to be in the best possible shape before i get close to 30. thats really the only reason. men die young in my family. I don't want to die at 45 because of a heart attack or stroke.

Congrats man! I've always wanted to bench to 200lb+ but I'd stopped going to the gym before I hit that mark. Definitely takes a lot of time and dedication.

I think that 3 kittens are equivalent to a cubic metre of chromium on Venus. That would mean that 5-6 kittens would be about three-fiddy pounds.

Also congrats and the weights. I haven't benched since high school.

Thats true. My older brother sort of looks like that, there is a way to not look like you have serious man breasts once you stop though. you just have to gradually decrease the weights. you lose mass, while not gaining fat.

That's awesome... I work out fairly regularly and can only bench 110 tops. I don't like to bench though cause I always felt like how much you lifted 'defined' your workout. I'm going for a much more lean approach to working out (running, core stuff, legs)
