As of late, I've been playing paintball with some friends and loving it. I decided that retal equipment wasn't going to cut it, so I invested in some used equipement. Buddy of mine is a new father and doesn't play anymore.

Anyway, this is what I got, for those interested in the specs:

-Tippmann A-5 w/ double trigger, regular and Flatline barrel
    -Q-Loader ball-loading system
    -Crossfire HPA 4500 psi tank
    -Pure Energy regulator
    -CP Drop forward
    -DOP Rear velocity adjuster
    -DOP grip adapter block
-JT Spectra thermal goggles w/ fan

    Tippmann A-5 with HPA tank

    Qloader harness

Goggles - notice TFTM vinyl record underneath :D

Now I need some camo fatigues and I'm all set :D

Nice equip... can't go wrong with Tippman. I have a carbine and I love it. Just wish I had time and money to go play.

I've never seen a hopper that loads from a hose like that, it looks jam-prone. How is it?

Tippmann is indeed a good brand, it's all I've ever used.

I'm actually going paintballing this weekend for my bachelor party, yay getting drunk and shooting!

the Qloader system is awesome. It can fire balls at a 30 bps rate. You can change pods in a twist and turn fashion right in the heat of the action.

There is an initial adjustment to do on every pod. There's a coil in the center of it that unwinds as you fire. You need to prewind the spring drive before loading in balls, but it's a one-thing setup. After that you're goods to go. If the spring is wounded too much, balls will break inside the feeding tube.

It's not for everyone, but seeing as how I'm a leftie, having the loader underneath the marker makes a world of difference, as a regular hopper tends to get in my line of sight.

    Check it out here:

    Line of sight ????

That is what my first shot is for !!!! :ev:

Great setup BTW, Tippman was my first marker and I dumped it in the dirt so many times and it kept firing like a champ.
