I like it. Any idea on how big it is and roughly what it might cost?

Well this was already linked in the CharaHobby 06 thread, but oh well. Kind of stinks to see a Pat Lee-ish figure coming out now, but it does still look pretty neat. If they are using the old sculpts, with revoltech joints instead of all those cuts, here's hoping Megatron is next. And maybe even that slick Grand Convoy. Looking forward to it.

With the exception of the smokestacks which are now placed a little lower than on the original prototype, the sculpt appears to be pretty much identical.

Neat. Convoy, Mazinkaiser, Getter 3? I'm all over this line! They're totally awesome one and all, here's hoping Convoy is up to standard.

well i can spot a few more differences than that...

The weird angled waist "cut" to let him move is now flat on the new one, really dont know how to describe that one.

The crotch plate lost its 2 bottom yellow marks, also lost the two "wedge" shaped pieces on the sides of the crotch plate.

Dude, they are less than 6 inches, which is shorter than the average ML or DC Direct figure. If they were 6 inches, I would have gone into the line.

That Eva Unit-01 must be a new addition since it has way different paint apps then the current Unit-01.

I honestly don't understand why EVA-04 keeps getting toys, given that all it did in the anime was blow up. It looks like a cool addition to the RevolTech line, but I would have liked to see some 05 Production Units first.

Anyway, on topic... Lots of cool stuff there, from the look of things. I was a little concerned about how the joints would be worked into Convoy's sculpt, but the figure seems to have turned out nicely. It'll be interesting to see what accessories are included with that one. Also looking forward to EVA-04 and the new EVA-00, but will probably pass on the altered EVA-01 unless it has different accessories.

Excluding shoulderpads, the various EVAs released so far are about 5" tall, give or take.

yeah, revoltech seems like a great line on the whole. Might start buying into it.

It's not that it isn't cool. Hell, it looks awesome. But I don't dig either another Prime toy or Transformers toys without the transforming gimmick. Combine the two and I'm really uninterested. But for fans of anime in general, this series looks great for both the sculpts and wide range of series.

Dude, the Unit 04 is such a fanwank figure! The powers that be that make EVA figures know that there is money to be made off the silver EVA.
