Let me start by saying I'M PUMPED!!! I FINALLY ordered my City Commander Armor today!! Let me give you a little history on why it has been a long time coming:

When the first edition of CC came out, it was a bad time for me. My daughter was just born and I was in the process of being laid off from work. Needless to say, $$$ was too tight for me to afford it.

When word of the reissue came out, I HAD TO preorder it. I finally had another chance to get it at a pretty decent price. Then when BBTS got them in stock, I had to cancel my order because money was tight again......it came out right before Thanksgiving and Xmas.

Fast forward to today......tax refund allowed me to order it!! I'm psyched!! I need to know......for people who own it, how good is CC? Am I right to be this pumped?

One word: Congratulations. I felt exactly the same way when I ordered mine, and even more pumped when I put the armor on my UM figure.

I love mine. Snapping the legs into place makes you cringe, but nothing breaks. The plastic feels good. The colors are great. The look is so unmistakeably bad-ass.

 

You will be happy. It's awesome. The legs are definitely the scary part thought.

 

trust me, you will love it, it is worth the wait.....i had waited since it was first announced back in the day for one and just got one when tfsource got it in (cancelled the bbts pre-order.....everyone knows how unpatient i was haha)

You are so gonna love this toy! I got it when it first come out and I still marvel at it.

 

I was holding out on the sc armor and now I missed out....sad day indeed

 

City Commander is AWESOME. Hardcore awesome. He'd only be more awesome if he hung out with you after work and drank a beer with you.

 

he's awesome. I had the original in my storage bin for well over a year before opening it 3 weeks ago. I was blown away by it, and I regret not opening it sooner!

it's an amazing figure, i got it when it was first released in 2008, and am no less impressed by it now as i was then, it has holding power

 

Is it true that this reissue is actually constructed better with screws instead of glue?

 

What is it? I've seen pictures, but is it supposed to be a TF character? It looks cool, just wondering.
