I finally got around and printing some of the cardbacks that I had made before. Here is how they turn out, got to fix some area in the back that you can see the whitering. Overall I give them a 5 out of 10. Got to finished the backs for bumblebee, windcharger and brawn. Just wanting to see the area that needed some works. I was going to use the reissue key chain blister to resealed some of the toys. What does the everyone one the board think? If anyone is interested I will trade them for something.
They look quite good. I'm currenly working on the autobot cassettes. On what kind of paper and cardboard did you printed it on and finished it with? I used 250 gr/m2 paper and glued them onto a thin cardboard. As for the bubbles, you can buy KO minibots and use the bubbles. You can round the edges with a disposable nailfile. Succes!
Well the paper is some cheap glossy paper I got at walmart. 50 sheets for 12 dollars. I use elmer spray glue to glue them on the cardbacks. Well for the cardbacks that I use well the backs of notebooks. i had a some graphing paper note book. Which had a cardback at the end. So I rip them off, which is about as accurate in thickness to the original. I have also done some cassettes one but have not printed them out. I was thinking of making some single cassette ones like how they came out in japan. Will see. I have also made some gijoe, thundercats, star wars and working on visionaries and cops.
If your gonna waste money on a k/o just for the buble just use the whole card and slap a vintage toy in it.To make bubles you buy the clear plastic sheets and lay them over top of what ever shape you want them to come out.Heat untill shaped,cut and done!
