I have been waiting what seems like forever to get him but he arrived today. With him and Skyfall and Landquake I only need 2 more years of waiting for the combiner to be complete. Speaking of which dose anybody know the story behind this combiner? 1. None of the figures have any combiner parts yet like feet or hands and why is there 2 factions in this combiner 2 Autobots and 1 Decpticon?
The feet and hands are the weapons. As for the mixed factions, it has yet to be fully explained, but I think the story is something like: Original, very ancient combiner is split into five robots. All forget who they are, they drift and find roles in Cybertronian society pre-Great War, so when the war breaks out, they end up on different sides. That said, in the comic both Skyfall and Landquake share a sense of a greater destiny, of belonging somewhere else. Landquake in particular has his doubts over the Decepticon cause and isn't fully commited. It's mentioned on his biocard. Basically their story is what is being told in the club comic. Other things happen too, but at the end of the day it is their story. The mysteries will be revealed eventually I'm sure.
I had to close my IE it had to be reset. I havent opend them yet so what what limbs do Breakaway, Skyfall, and Landquake represent?
The Energon Combiners can form either an arm or a leg. Personal feeling is Skyfall's a leg, Landquake's an arm, and Breakaway could be either. Colours would match if he were an arm, though he'd work better as a leg. Problem also being that he's a lot wider than Skyfall as far as legs go so probably he's the other arm. We'll know in around about two years time!
any you want. there will probably be official locations, but we won't know until the whole set is released.
It will be interesting if the body is half blue half red, and the combiner is half Con half Bot or something crazy like that.
I just hope they use a remold of Barricade as the main body but make him an Autobot. That mold was by far the best of the Deluxe Energon Combiners. I wouldn't be surprised if the next limb is the Sledge/Bonecrusher mold but that would breakup the military vehicle theme that we have now.
