    WHIRL

    ALLEGIANCE: Autobot
    FUNCTION: Aerial Assault

"If used logically, madness makes a great weapon."

Profile: Loves his job... careens across sky spinning and weaving wild, crazy patterns. Believes enemies are more terrified of him if he acts wild during an attack.

Abilities: Flies at 400 mph, range 1600 miles. Amazing maneuverability... can fly at almost any angle. Carries four incendiary-shell cannons hi-energy photon beam rifle. Great strength as a robot... has null-ray module on hand, paralyzo box on leg.

Weaknesses: Reckless... prone to rotor blade damage.

    WRECK-GAR

    ALLEGIANCE: AUTOBOT
    SUB-GROUP: JUNKION
    FUNCTION: JUNKION LEADER

"Collect and save, collect and save."

Profile: Wreck-Gar is the leader of the Junkions, and like his people, is a creature comprised of rusted scraps, dented odds and ends, chassis bits, and manifold parts - a walking, very powerful and all but indestructible Junkbot, i.e., a robot of junk. When he is hit by laser blasts and falls apart, he reassembles himself out of the junky remains of his body and available junk heaps that constitute the structure of his planetoid, and keeps right on coming. And his speech and attitudes are also a junkyard-like collection of languages and broadcast fragments overheard from all over the universe - scraps of T.V. commercials, soap opera dialogue, old song lyrics and valentine inscriptions merged with quotations from history given out of context. As Wreck-Gar might say, "Holy Mackeral, Mrs. Olson, your mountain-grown easy-listening sidekick, kimosabe, wishes you have a nice industrial-strength day. Film at eleven or not."

Abilities: Wreck-Gar can transform into motorcycle mode and back to robot mode continuously in battle, so that his "ruins" become his transformed mode and back again any time he takes a direct hit. In robot mode, he carries an armor axe and a decelerator laser that inhibits an enemy robot's flow of cerebral impulses. Speed: 160 mph. Range: 100 miles.

Weaknesses: Subject is sometimes too good-natured; he can be tricked by those trying to take advantage of his aid. He has an inability to focus for very long periods of time; this attention defecit disorder can probably be traced to his long exposure to television programming.

Yippee! Ok let's get it started. I too am curious as to how much this environment will play a factor concerning Wreck-Gar's advantage. Just wanted to get that in before somebody declares that Whirl will smash, smother, or obliterate WG and that there is no other way. Oops did I say that? It's gonna be a long four days gents. Let's get it on!

We've got both TFs armed with weapons in robot mode that basically render the opponent unable to fight back.

Whoever shoots first and hits with their respective weapon wins.

So, what if they both shoot and hit each other at the same time?

    Error. Null. Tilt.

Whirl wins, I think people are putting way to much stock in Wreck-Gar's ability to re-assemble himself.

I think so too. I also don't see Cybertron being that great of an advantage for WG. Just cause it's made of Metal doesn't mean it's going to serve him like his home Planet of Junk.

I voted for Wreckgar, because Whirl's toy is stupid.

    Just kidding.

    Wreckgar's toy is stupid too.

I'll probably vote for Whirl unless someone has a really interesting argument. Just seems like Whirl edges Wreckgar out stat-wise. Not familiar with either character all that much, so, I got nothing.

I have to go with whirl on this one. WG is not going to be able to hit whirl, since whirl is going to be in helicopter mode most of the time doing crazy loops and turns while firing his incendiary rocket launcher and cannon at WG. And I think some of you guys seriously over-estimate WG's healing ability. I dont think it will be to much of an advantage, and with whirls 8 firepower, 8 skill, and numerous weapons hes going to be pouring so much firepower on WG hes going to be im thousands of pieces moments after the match starts. And if WG tries to heal himself, whirl can just blast him again and blow him into another 1000 pieces.

I personally think that Wreck-Gar has a bit of a tolerance to "stun weapons".

I think whirl will take this one. Cybertron is great and all, but I don't think it will play to his advantage in resepects to spare parts. Sure if he can wreck something to get the materials, but I think his attention is going to be focused on whirl instead.

As much as I like WG, I could really see Whirl coming in at 400 mph and firing off his incendiary cannons all the while weaving through the Cybertronian landscape much like he did back in "The Big Apple". I'm not sure what WG could do at this point but simply try to stay alive. I'm not so much concerned about the rifle or the attitude when it comes to bot on bot as WG has his shield and is a bit of a loon himself. What peaks my curiosity however, is the whole null ray/paralyzo box combo. If Whirl uses them in tandem does this mean that WG, or any oppenent for that matter, becomes "super stunned"? Let's say that WG deflects the null ray with his shield, but is simultaneously struck with the p-box. Furthermore, what is the range of the p-box and what might be the duration of effect? Hmmm, things that make me go hmmm.
