Here's my first non-transformer custom. I'm collecting a lot of Final Fantasy figures, but I've never seen any about this old-school game, so i decided to create my own using G.I. Joe sigma 6 figures that were on sale at my local Wal-mart. CC are welcomed as always. This is the figure i use to create it. [ATT] 2233 [/ATT] and this is my final product. i hope old-school gamer will enjoy it! [ATT] 2253 [/ATT] [ATT] 2235 [/ATT] [ATT] 2236 [/ATT] [ATT] 2237 [/ATT]
sounds like sarcasm(without facial expression, it's hard to detect on the net), but i didn't expect very much since this is more of a transformers custom board than anything else, but i don't know any other place to post this...at least, on a well-known web site where you can see kitbashes and customs with a non-insulting community(other forums just plain sucks).
nope, no sarcasm at all. I wouldn't have expected to see a FF character from a GI Joe toy. There are fans of GI Joe customs here though, just not nearly as many as there are TF fans lol
At first, i was thinking about making a Scorpion or Sub-zero figure but there's so many custom of those characters and real toys already existed so i thought about making Shadow. He always had a special place in my mind since i first saw him in FFVI and i've been craving for toys from that game but couldn't find any (except for some statues that were released last year, but statues doesn't appeal me as much as a real action figure). I'm also making Sabin from FFVI out of a Sigma 6 Duke paratrooper and i'll try to grab a second one to make his twin. There's lots of parts that has to be resculpted and i'm not used to resculpting but i think i'll manage to do something decent. I'll post pics when i'm done with Sabin. If i can find some more G.I. Joe figures, i'll try to make some FFIV characters as well
