    Anyone pick this up?

Completely re-translated, character portraits, and 4 new jobs! Read up a bit to see exactly how you get the new jobs and holy shit, getting the Necromancer is probably going to be one of the most difficult things in any Final Fantasy, ever.

Enjoying the game though, flew through FFIV Advance in 3 days, though I wasn't working 65 hours a week either.

Grabbed one this morning. Haven't had much chance to play it yet, but I look forward to sitting down with it for a while to get into it. I always loved the Job Change system, and the inclusion of the Red Mage class.

This is also one of the reasons why I will get Final Fantasy 3 DS.

Why is that? I haven't heard anything about it, so I'm curious.

Like in FFIVA, in this game you beat the final boss and a "Sealed Temple" opens up in the Merged World. Inside are four new job classes that you can get -- Gladiator, Cannoneer, Mystic, and Necromancer. The first three come from beating "neo" versions of former bosses, the final one you have to go through probably the four toughest bosses (stronger than the final boss) and THEN you get the Necromancer job class (makes you undead, so cure hurts you, you get to summon the dead to do your bidding and learn "dark" spells much like how the Blue Mage learns his spells).

The Gladiator job class allows you to equip any weapon and gives you a skill called "Bladeblitz", which lets you hit an enemy a ton of times. I mean, it'll make the game so unfair that you'll just laugh.

Mystics have the highest "magic" rating of any class, plus they have an extra job slot?, so you're able to equip things like "Summon", "Black", and "White" to the arsenal.

Cannoneer just combines certain items to make explosives.

    Should be fun!!

I picked it up the other day. Pretty good overall, the battle system got a much better transfer than FFIVA and feels like a better production overall.

My only complaint is that they released it so close the the FFIII release (which I believe is next week) so I may start rushing threw so I'm not playing two FF games at the same time.

I'm asking for this for Christmas. I have only so much cash and III beats out V any day in my book.

I wish they had unlocked the sealed temple clower to the middle of the game. After you get the necromancer class, there's not much you can do with it.

And I renamed the main guy "Butz." That's how it should be.
